Finding parking in downtown Harbour South district is easy and convenient, with several options just steps away from the shops, services and dinning at the district.
Cunard Residences
Bishop’s Landing
Managed by One Shot, public parking is available at Cunard Residences in a covered garage connected to retail. This lot features dynamic pricing, so rates will depend on the time and day. Scan the QR code located in the garage and pay prior to exiting.
Managed by Hotspot, this pay-by plate lot offers convenient parking options for both daytime and evening visits. Payments can be made through the Hotspot app or at the pay station located outside the Daily Grind Café.
All pay by plate lots are free to use for CarShareHFX vehicles. There is a designated CarShareHFX space located in the Harbour South District, in Cunard Residences.
Parking around South Harbour
There are plenty of convenient options for parking around the district including lots, street parking and even docks for those arriving by sea.
Salter St Lot
Managed by Indigo, this pay-by plate lot offers convenient parking options for both daytime and evening visits. Payments can be made through the Indigo app or at one of two pay stations located on the lot.
Street Parking
Managed by Indigo, metered parking is available along Lower Water Street and surrounding streets. There are a limited number of non-metered parking spots. Payments can be made through the Hotspot app or are a nearby pay station. Metered street parking is free after 6:00 pm, on weekends, and on holidays.
Marginal Rd Lot
Managed by Indigo, parking is also available in a variety of lots along Marginal Road. These pay-by plate lots o ers convenient parking options for both evening and weekend visits. Payments can be made through the Indigo app or at a pay station located on the lot.
Boating
Dock in the district, steps away from Bishop’s Landing. Daytime berthing along the Halifax waterfront is free with a registered berthing pass. No reservations are required for daytime berths.Please note that the Halifax Waterfront Marina does not accept reservations for daytime berthing, it is first come first serve. On arrival, contact the Marina Office at 902.229.2628 to check availability and notify them once you have berthed.
